Help set up, run stalls, or clear away at our events. Even a couple of hours makes a huge difference to the day.
We're building something beautiful. Help tend the school garden, maintain green spaces, or join a working party.
Got practical skills? We have ongoing projects including the school gazebo and an annual Fix Up Day each spring.

We’re exploring whether solar panels could reduce the school’s energy costs and carbon footprint. If you work in renewables, have relevant technical knowledge, or have experience obtaining grants and funding for community or environmental projects, we’d love to hear from you. There may be funding out there we’re not yet aware of — any leads or contacts would be hugely welcome.

Every child at Wrington C of E Primary deserves a rich, joyful school experience — and parents and carers are at the heart of making that happen.
The Wrington PTA was officially registered as a charity in 2001 (no. 1090825) — but insiders in the village say it has been going since the 1960s. One local Wringtonian recalls the PTA funding a telephone for the Headmaster back then, to save him walking to the phone box!
Over 60 years on, we're still here — raising tens of thousands of pounds every year to make school life better for every child.

The Fix Up Day was a wonderful success, the gazebo project is progressing well, and we're in the final stretch of planning for the Summer Fair. Thank you to every single volunteer who has given their time this year — you are the PTA.
The PTA provides funds for some wonderful extras for the children, such as the climbing wall, but funds are also used for the mundane — even a carpet or homework books. Without the PTA, our school provision would be far more limited. It is a real partnership which benefits the whole school community.
The PTA has never been so essential to our day-to-day work. There has been increasing pressure on costs — staffing, buildings, resources — and we are very grateful for everything the PTA does.
Yes, some of the things we ask for we all might think should come from central funding — but the harsh reality is that educational funding is harder now than ever before. This is the reason I describe the PTA as the fourth emergency service!
